Due to the fact that its polymer chain is unbranched, this polyethylene has higher intermolecular forces in the chain and higher tensile strength than other polyethylenes. As a result, its resistance to chemicals and fragile stresses is higher, but it has less flexibility in this type of polyethylene. The reaction and type of catalyst is very effective, polymerization of this type is done at relatively low pressure and temperatures. This type of polymer is used in fuel storage containers, chairs that are used in the open areas, and toys, and one of the most important uses of it is the production of sheets and tubes.
