However, in reality, this name is the abbreviated name for general-purpose polystyrene. The characteristics of this type of polystyrenes include high heat resistance, suitable impact strength, and an appropriate level of fluidity during the process.
In addition to general applications, they are also used in electrical applications. The reason for this is their high strength and dielectric properties. In Iran, this type is known by the trade name "Crystal."
